Chalkstream
Trout.
Fly Fishing for Trout on the UK’s Finest Running Waters.
There is something timeless and deeply rewarding about fishing for trout in a clear, slow-flowing chalkstream — and I’ve spent much of my life immersed in some of the most beautiful and productive trout waters the UK has to offer.
From keeping and managing rivers to guiding others, I’ve come to know these streams intimately — not just as the most hallowed of trout water, but as the thriving, delicate and vanishing rare ecosystems that they are.
A Guide's Ethos
As your guide, my aim is simple: to share what I’ve been lucky enough to learn over the years. Whether it’s helping you refine your casting, introducing a new fly pattern, or pointing out the secret lives of the stream’s less obvious inhabitants, I want your day to be as enriching as it is enjoyable.
